My name is O. Opeola, that is … and I’m the new Director of Backstage Philadelphia.
The 2017-2018 season of being Opeola was insane. I lived in 7 cities in 4 countries, consulted for several organizations, held two short term full-time roles, and learned some tough, but important, lessons about people, work, values, and my prerogatives.
It’s the people part that has me reeling with excitement this fall as I join the Backstage Capital to bring a new accelerator program to the City of Brotherly Love. I’m ecstatic about this accelerator, and thrilled for the opportunity to flex my operations muscle in service of underrepresented underestimated founders.
